4th Annual Fashion Photography Week In Paris - 2010! (continued)


INCLUDES:
1. Activities and excursions including visits with industry professionals and entrance to a fashion show during Haute Couture Fashion Week.
2. Location scouting
3. Model casting with a Paris agency
4. 2 professionally produced fashion shoots (location and/or studio)! We will provide professional wardrobe stylists, makeup artists, hair stylists and models from Paris agencies. The productions will also include lunches while on set.
5. A freestyle fashion shoot on location, with a fashion designer or stylist, makeup/hair stylist, and model.
6. Accomodations in a comfortable, three-star hotel for 11 days/10 nights, centrally located in the 6th Arrondisement, a neighborhood with a rich history of creativity and artistry. The hotel is near the Metro, restaurants and other activities.
7. Transportation in the destination city including airport transfers and Metro passes.
8. 2 entry tickets: Eiffel Tour or another similar attraction such as the Louvre AND a photo museum.
9. Free time to explore the city on your own or with other participants.
10. Continental breakfasts daily.
11. A workshop instructor or assistant available 24 hours a day "on call" from arrival to departure.
12. Some lighting equipment will be provided in studio, if applicable. We may also have additional equipment available throughout the workshop (cameras, lenses and lighting equipment). A list will be provided. Your use of ANY provided equipment requires a $100 refundable security deposit or insurance certificate.
13. After the workshop (date tba) there will be an optional group photo exhibit in a Los Angeles area gallery. Participants will be required to cover the cost of prints and frames (which you can keep afterward). Please contact us for details.
14. Your photos may also be included in our students' online gallery.

DOES NOT INCLUDE:
1. Airfare. We will provide an optional group airfare rate from LAX. Tickets (from LAX or another city) should be purchased well in advance of the departure date as fares rise rapidly during high season. You have the option of purchasing outside of the group, however, we provide airport transfers only during a specified "window" of arrival time into/out of Paris (CDG). We recommend getting tickets with flexible restrictions (e.g. minimal refund/change penalties) and obtaining travel insurance. 2. Travel costs incurred to/from your home or prior to the workshop departure and after the return day
3. Lunches, dinners and beverages (see below)**
4. Entrance fees or costs for activities not listed in the "Includes" section above.
5. Cameras, equipment, film or processing, unless otherwise noted. See #12 above.
6. Excess baggage charges and departure taxes
7. Medical expenses
8. Personal items
9. Room damages or incidental charges incurred at the hotel such as internet, phone calls, laundry and minibar
10. Baggage or travel insurance
11. Passport or visa expenses (see below)

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
1. You must bring a PASSPORT! Check to make sure it doesn't expire in less than 6 months from the travel dates (otherwise you have to renew it now.) If you need to renew it or do not have one, we recommend expediting it through your local post office or a passport service, which usuallly takes about 4 weeks. If you go the normal governmnet route it could take several months. (Please note: if you are not a U.S. citizen, additional rules apply.)
2. The Euro currency is currently about €1.00 to U.S. $1.40 (subject to change)
3.**Lunches during photo shoots and ALL breakfasts are included with the workshop fee. For most meals we will eat at inexpensive restaurants. Plan approximately $15.00 - $25.00 (€11.50 to €20) per meal in most cases.

A detailed itinerary package is provided after your enrollment and payment is received - and will include additional details about the hotel, maps, transportation specifics, important phone numbers, emergency information, etc.
