5th Annual Fashion Photography Week In Paris - 2011!

POSTPONED UNTIL 2012. This exclusive program is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that is beyond a travel trip to Paris! It offers students interested in fashion and beauty the chance to shoot professionally-produced editorial photos for their portfolios, learn first-hand what it's like to be a photographer in the fashion capital of the world, and absorb the culture and heartbeat of PARIS during Fashion Week -- all under the guidance of an international fashion photographer. Limit 14 students, first-come, first-serve, subject to final approval after a review of your images. You must be at least 18 years old and a current or recent student (within last 3 years) at an accredited U.S. school or college. International students please contact us for additional information. We may waive the current or recent student requirement on a case-by-case basis.

This "creative burst" program is taught in the real world of high-end cover and beauty editorial photography, designed to provide a foundation and build portfolios on a competitive level. With intense, hands-on instruction in lighting and other techniques, as well as authentic professional production teams (makeup, hair, model...), this short version of our immersion program is about the do's-and-don'ts of shooting covers and beauty, in the tradition of successful fashion magazines - and creating photos that can compete at a higher level than self-produced photography...
